Addicted to Travel
Updated: Oct 27, 2021
In a way, travel is a type of addiction. An addiction that needs to be encouraged and not suppressed. An addiction to experience the world, and educate the mind, body, and soul. Travel is an amazing thing. As soon as you experience it once, you want to experience as much of it as you can.
I have made it a mission for mine to visit as many different countries, explore as many different places, eat as many different foods, meet as many different people, and experience as many different cultures.
I'm not one that comes to decisions easily, often over-thinking every thought and opportunity until sometimes it's too late. I tend to question every decision that I make; wondering if it were the right decision to do or not do something.
But there comes a time when you just have to stop thinking, and start doing. I'm striving towards saying yes more often, and to get the most out of every experience possible.
Embracing Opportunities
Life is always about jumping at the opportunities, embracing the risks, making sacrifices, and heading in the right direction for your future. Why not take the risk? Why not face (and conquer) your fears? Why not dare to do something so terrifying that your wildest dreams begin to come true? Chase your dreams! Enjoy the journey that gets you there! And have patience that the decision you've made is the right decision, and that everything will work out great in the end.
Make your dreams become a reality! Travel is a choice. And a choice I'm working to make happen as frequently as I possibly can.
I've always been encouraged to do something that I enjoy, to do something that brings in the money and pays the bills; and sometimes somehow, if you're lucky enough, you can find something that does both.
Front Row Seat
Travel gives you a front row seat to the best and most pure form of education out there. It's completely up to each of us if we want to experience it. Take that chance to learn something new, embracing the world around us and all of the people in it. Bring the world a little bit closer together and learn something new about someone else - and just maybe, if you are really lucky, you will learn something new about yourself that you never thought you would ever experience before.
